A Kitchen Idea

This is a remodel I found on This Old House. I was looking for good remodels of small outdated kitchens, and this one was originally a lot like our kitchen on Walts.

I like the idea of having less cupboard space above (I can only reach the bottom shelf anyway!) because it really opens up a small kitchen. I also like the idea of having a wall of cupboards to store appliances and food in. These ones look so simple, they could be built by us!

This is a picture of the range top stove with storage beneath, and the oven on the wall. I'm not sure why I like this so much, but I do.
